Pictor is seeking scientists to develop novel immunodiagnostic assays to expand their menu of products. The candidate should have a PhD in one of the biological sciences, preferably biochemistry, with hands-on experience in protein-based assay development, especially ELISA miniaturization and multiplexing systems. A strong statistical knowledge and clinical background will also be necessary. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with microarrays, including imaging and analysis software. A good knowledge of emerging in vitro diagnostic technology including point-of-care tests will be an added asset. The candidate should have the ability to work on challenging projects under strict deadlines within multi-disciplinary teams of biologists, engineers and programmers.

Pictor is seeking an engineer to develop in vitro diagnostic test readers using imaging sensors and wireless technology. The candidate should have a Masters degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering with hands-on experience and a wide knowledge of sensor technologies and smart-phone systems. The candidate should be adept in using modelling software, building and testing device prototypes. Strong programming skills are a must.
